Privacy Policy

The short version
PlayWiki has no accounts and no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal information to read the site. Standard server logs are processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and performance.
What we collect
- Anonymous request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL), processed by Cloudflare for security, abuse prevention, and caching. These logs are not used to profile individual visitors.
- Aggregated, anonymous usage analytics may be used to understand which pages are useful. If analytics cookies are introduced, this policy will be updated before they go live.
- If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DNS. Cloudflare's own privacy practices apply to data they process.
- Steam Web API — the source of all player-count data. Your browser does not talk to Steam directly for the numbers shown; we fetch and serve them.
- Advertising partners — the site may display ads (e.g., via Adsterra or Google AdSense). Ad partners may set cookies or use device identifiers to measure and personalize ads, subject to their own policies. Where required by law, we will present consent choices before non-essential cookies are used.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works without them. To exercise data-access or deletion requests (e.g., regarding an email you sent us), contact us and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
